Rostrato box by Barovier and Toso, crafted in Murano, Italy, during the 1960s. Notable example of mid-century Murano glass art, characterized by its distinctive "Rostrato" technique, which features a textured surface resembling pointed, beak-like protrusions (rostrato meaning "beaked" in Italian). This technique, pioneered by Barovier in the 1930s, creates a striking visual and tactile effect. Perfect state of conservation. Ref: 1832. Dimensions:
